[Date: 03/01/2521 -- Early Morning, 7:50 A.M.]
[Location: Outside RMUP HQ Building -- Business District]
[Characters: All Characters welcome -- Those interested in the First Annual Single Elimination Tournament of Innerpeace]
------ "Everything is ready, Sir.""Good, thank you, John.""Sir." The man named John nodded before turning and returning to his desk. Mac smiled as he left, turning back to the main doors of the building. Ahhhh...he had been waiting for this day. For a long while. Registration. Well, not quiet yet... But soon. All he had to do was open the doors. But he wanted to make sure everything was ready, which is why he had called on John. Now, with just 6 minutes to spare, everything seemed to be ready to go. The computers were all activated for the participants, the security was in position...now all he had to do was wait for them to finish up outside... ------ Meanwhile outside... "Thank you all for coming this morning, we're sorry that the weather wasn't more pleasant, but once we're inside I promise you all will warm up.
Now, before we go inside, I'd like to go over a couple of things. First off, in order to register you must be registered with Legion. That shouldn't be a problem for anyone, but for legal purposes we have to inform you of that. Secondly we request you refrain from any form of aggressive action. We have security stationed all throughout the building and we will not hesitate to remove you if the need arises. Finally, during the registration process, you will not be permitted to leave or communicate with anyone else. You also are unable to register anyone that isn't yourself.
With this all said, I wish you all the best of luck, and invite you to come inside to begin registration!" |

Kai honestly didn't know if there would be any Mega Men here. Still the prize was bound to attract some pretty bad people. It never hurts to have a little bit of extra security right?
So he figured that he may as well sign up. Even if he DID have to use his damn actual registration number with Legion and not a fake one.

Alfonzo will make a dramatic entrance into the building, rushing to the sign up area. Teddy bear with a triangle and papers in hand. He'll get a gleam in his eye as he grabs the registration paper for him, and 'hands' one to the bear.
"Liebniz and I would like to sign up." Yes, he named the bear Liebniz. What insane man wouldn't name his bear after an ancient mathematician. Newton was too mainstream. Anyway, he'll fill out the sheet and stare blankly at the bear, waiting it to sign up.
"Oh wait, I forgot, he's paralyzed in all parts of the body, cept those he can move with." He'll fill out the sheet for the bear and try to hand it in. "We got this in the bag."

"Come ooon, I wanna gooooo!" Alki whined, taking Voile's hand and just literally dragging him with her newfound robotic powers. She was too scared to go out alone this time now, and she decided Voile was the best one so far. Plus... she kind of liked him anyway, and maybe he'd like to sign up.
"Look! Look!" She spoke quietly pointed at the security around the place. They might not pay attention to them so she snuck up to the registration book and peered up and over, taking a pencil and signing her name... backwards.
"Um... what's my registration number?" She wondered out loud, but quietly, and looked at her hand where she wrote it in sharpie that she stole. She then wrote it down again. Looking grumpy at the idea of having to do that, and then smacked the pen down.
Alki then snuck back up next to Voile.. the safety of his hip was much more appealing to her now.

Voile allowed Alki to continue dragging him, observing the girl quietly. Wow, she was quite clingy compared to the last few times that he had seen her, not that he blamed her. She had been practically kidnapped, after all. He hated to say 'I told you so', but...
Either way, this tournament smelled of a trap. Most people weren't supposed to be combat-worthy, so why make a tournament for them...?
"...Seriously?" He stared as she wrote her name backwards, but she at least managed to get her registration number down correctly. Either way, Voile held her hand and then wrote his own name and registration number down.
It wasn't as if people knew that 'Shadow' and Voile Phare were the same person.

"The heck, Co? It's a tournament for people, not Biometals...!" Imit said quietly to the little Biometal so that no one else would be able to hear.
Regardless, the very idea sounded interesting, and fun. Sadly, Imit didn't notice there was anything odd about it, and waited until it was his turn to register. He wrote down his name and registration number.
It couldn't be that bad. Besides, it might get some of the bloodlust that Co has out of his system.

Alfonzo will narrow his eyes as the papers are shredded. That sir, was uncalled for.
"Sir, I must state that I read nothing of the sorts on your forms, nor was there a question on the forms that asked if you were alive. Not to mention you have no proof that this bear is not alive. For all you know, he is alive, just...not moving...and lifeless. And stuff. So there!"
He'll nod with a victory, before walking off, Liebniz in hand.

Giro walked casually through the crowd of people and got in line patiently waiting for his turn as he sipped at a travel mug full of coffee.
According to Model Z, who was neatly tucked away in his breast pocket, there was at least four other Megamen in the area, and the number was bound to rise.
Giro wasn't normally the competitive sort, but he was primarily joining for a couple reasons. One, he knew either Vent or Aile were likely going to join and he sure as hell wasn't going to sit and just spectate. Not when he could help whittle away the stronger opponents. There was also the fact that it would give him practice for real combat, get him back into prime form.
He also just didn't like this. Something seemed...off.
Once his turn in line came, he's take the sign-up sheet and, in neat writing, write his name and vital stats and the other required fields. Thankfully, thanks to some work from some friends, his 'death', never happened and he was just in hiding these past few years.

Julianne strutted along confidently, pulling along a probably rather reluctant Aven behind her as the signups opened. She looked around with a grin, lifting an eyebrow as she saw Giro. Oh hey!~ She wanted to say hi, but now was probably a bad time. She'll just track him down later.
Due to the fact that her right side was still in really sorry shape, and that model Jw refused to megamerge with her for this compition due to her injury, she can forcedcoaxed Aven into signing up. "Sign up station's this way!" She directed, grabbing his hand and pulling him along.

Just right behind Giro was another Megaman, actually. Siarnaq himself had found this place of interest as well. Perhaps he'd be able to hone in on his skills as well, even if it was a trap or not. Model P had told him that it did seem... off, but he knew that beforehand. Why make a competition involving fighting... in a supposedly peaceful town?
It was unsettling, even to the ninja. Either way, it was his turn, and he signed up his name obediently. "Siarnaq - Age 24 - Reploid" And the font was even in proper LCD style. Oddly enough. Model P wanted to facepalm.
With that, the othe left to hide in the bushes and watch the other contestants walk in and out.

Trailing along after Julianne was in fact a rather reluctant Aven. He didn't like to fight for the fun of it! Why was she making him do this- oh right, because Pandora didn't want to join, and because she couldn't join, he was the only eligible one to join. He sighed, allowing the woman to continue dragging him.
"Oy... I see it, I see it..."
Conveniently not noticing either of his brothers present, Aven took the pen and signed up his name. Maybe this would appease Julianne for now.

Jake had to keep an eye on his beautiful daughter. She was, after all, the last thing he wanted to see disappear from his arms. of course he was naturally suspicious of Voile and when he came upon the tournament he just face palmed. Greaaat! This was going to be wonderful, his daughter was going to join in a tourney. of course Jake himself was not aware of the situation at hand, plus... maybe Kristine might be fond of him joining anyway.
Her and her studies. Blegh. Either way, Jake joined in, towering over everyone else and came up to sign in with his full name and stats.
